Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Franklin County, Kansas. You will be based on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety The role involves record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers.
