RCC mason — Caledonia County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a RCC mason in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Full-time with occasional weekends.
