Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Travis County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness Requirements: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Willing to work shifts and overtime Six days a week, one day off.
