Concrete finisher — Oglethorpe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. The job is in a residential housing project. Day to day you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 3+ years on the tools preferred.
