Pastry baker — Crawford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Crawford County, Georgia. You will be based in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
