Dozer operator • Starke County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Starke County, Indiana. The job is on a dam or embankment job. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) On the job you will handle: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
