Join our team: construction helper (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction helper in Val Verde County, Texas. You will work with a civil contractor. On a typical shift you will break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
