Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Jasper County, Texas. You will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
