Stitching operator — Rusk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Rusk County, Texas. You will work at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Meals and transport allowance provided.
