Groundworker — Fort Bend County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Fort Bend County, Texas. The job is with a civil contractor. The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
