Marble worker — Wayne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble worker in Wayne County, Illinois. The job is at a kitchen worktop showroom. Your main tasks: • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
