Panel welder — Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Macon County, Tennessee. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Six days a week, one day off.
