Machine assembly operator — Grant County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine assembly operator in Grant County, Indiana. The job is at a busy assembly plant. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Careful handling of tools and components Day-to-day duties: • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts Six days a week, one day off.
