Presser — Fountain County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in Fountain County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
