Vacancy available: tower crane operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Fort Bend County, Texas. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
