Single needle operator • Crawford County, Wisconsin

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Crawford County, Wisconsin. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
