Fusing press operator — Oliver County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Oliver County, North Dakota. You will work in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots.
