Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Linn County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
