Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Kendall County, Illinois. You will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
