Incoming goods inspector — Lancaster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Lancaster County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. Requirements: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
