Brick mason — Warren County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Warren County, Mississippi. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters 4+ years on the tools preferred.
