Banksman — Carroll County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Carroll County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller.
