Tailor machinist — Howard County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Howard County, Indiana. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
