Now hiring: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Meade County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Day-to-day duties: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket 6+ years on the tools preferred.
