Vacancy available: we are hiring a beldar in Rooks County, Kansas. Day to day you will carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
