Steel fixer — Mesa County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Mesa County, Colorado. Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
