Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Washington County, Vermont. You will be based in a garment export house. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
