Lathe operator — Winnebago County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Winnebago County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
