Concrete labourer wanted in Amherst County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
