Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Prince Edward County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Prince Edward County, Virginia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. You will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
