Quality control inspector • DeWitt County, Illinois

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality control inspector in DeWitt County, Illinois. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
