Power float operator — DeSoto County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in DeSoto County, Mississippi. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Overtime paid at a premium rate.
