Immediate opening: bread baker (Maryland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in Baltimore County, Maryland. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer.
