System formwork carpenter — Beaufort County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Beaufort County, South Carolina. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. On a typical shift you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
