Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Dallam County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 5+ years on the tools preferred.
