Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Franklin County, Missouri. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance.
