We are recruiting: blocklayer (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Laurel County, Kentucky. You will work at a residential building site. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. 4+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
