Head baker — Eaton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Eaton County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
