Brick and block layer — Maru

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Maru, Zamfara State. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
