Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Full-time, day shift.
