Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile installer in Winnebago County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away Requirements: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) 1+ years on the tools preferred.
