Sausage maker — Jasper County

Join our team: we are hiring a sausage maker in Jasper County, Iowa. You will work in a supermarket meat department. The role involves take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
