Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Lucas County, Iowa. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time with occasional weekends.
