Bricklayer wanted in Glenn County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Glenn County, California. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
