Groundworker — Gasconade County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Gasconade County, Missouri. You will work on a commercial building project. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions The role involves pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience.
