Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Crawford County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
