Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Jackson County, Florida. You will work in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills On the job you will handle: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
