Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Floyd County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Rotating shifts.
