Argon welder — Coffee County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Coffee County, Tennessee. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
