Scaffold fitter — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Your main tasks: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors Overtime paid at a premium rate.
